We’ve had some exciting days in Düsseldorf. We’re looking back on REHACARE 2026!
Once again this year, REHACARE in Düsseldorf was the most important event in the sector for us. We’ve had an intense few days at the trade fair, filled with numerous discussions, a great response to our new products and valuable encounters with families, specialist retailers, therapists and international partners.
Hardly any other event brings together all those involved in the provision of assistive devices quite like REHACARE. At our stand, we met families and those affected, medical supply stores, therapists and staff from the prescription sector. Particularly when it comes to providing support for children and young people, several disciplines always work hand in hand. Experiencing this exchange in one place is especially valuable for us, year after year.
The official figures
45,000 visitors from 101 countries gathered information from nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 43 countries on aids, assistive technologies, mobility solutions, care services, digital applications and innovations for independent living. REHACARE also underlined its international significance in terms of visitor demographics: a third of visitors travelled from abroad, and 80 per cent of those surveyed were trade visitors.
Our new products were well received.
We were particularly pleased with the response to our new products and innovations. Our new dynamic standing trainer, trixi, together with the stixi app developed in-house, generated a great deal of enthusiasm, especially amongst therapists specialising in early intervention. Many visitors tried out our products straight away and gave us their honest feedback. We will take these insights on board as we continue to develop our products, as we design them for the everyday lives of the children, families and professionals who live and work with our aids.
Our digital innovations were met with great enthusiasm by the trade fair audience. At our multimedia station, visitors were busy using the epiks configurator to put together their first aids, or clicking their way through the new, modern website or the PROVIKO app with its new AI function for setting goals.
Strong partnerships, nurtured personally.
We were able to further strengthen our collaboration with our sales partner Rifton, whose stand was located directly opposite ours. The short distances made it easy to exchange ideas throughout the fair and clearly demonstrated to visitors just how closely we work together.
Our international partners and staff from our subsidiaries also made the most of REHACARE to meet us in person. We prefer face-to-face conversations to any Teams meeting, and they provide the ideal foundation for our continued collaboration.
Open dialogue in turbulent times.
The aids sector faces challenges, not least due to rising cost pressures and new health policy frameworks. This made open discussions about the concerns and difficulties encountered in day-to-day care all the more important to us. Our shared goal remains clear: children and young people should receive the assistive devices they need to participate fully in society.
Thank you!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our stand, to our partners and to our trade fair team.
