Today’s spotlight is on our dear colleague Andre Kienker.
Andre joined our team last year! He works in dispatch and also occasionally delivers our products to our customers in person. Even though this isn’t the profession he originally trained for, Andre has found exactly what fulfils him: a role that brings him joy day in, day out.
1. Andre, what quality do you think others value most in you – and why?
I think others particularly appreciate my willingness to help and the respect I show in my dealings with others. It’s important to me to treat everyone openly and with respect – both in my private life and in my day-to-day work. I also enjoy supporting others and helping out wherever I can.
2. What’s your favourite thing to buy from the Schuchmann Bistro?
My favourite things to buy at the Schuchmann Bistro are chocolate and wraps.
3. Do you work in the profession you originally trained for?
No, I originally trained as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk and only worked in that role during my apprenticeship. It’s important to me to see the results of my work at the end of the day. Today, for example, I can see quite clearly exactly how many products we’ve loaded each day. That’s something I missed when I was in the office.
