Today’s spotlight is on our dear colleague Christoph Hötzel.
Christoph Hötzel has been part of the international customer service team for some time now and looks after and supports some of our sales partners from Greece right through to the Netherlands.
1. Christoph, what’s one thing you couldn’t start your working day without?
My working day simply can’t begin without a glass of cold water on my desk.
2. If you weren’t working at Schuchmann, what would you be doing?
I’d definitely be doing something international. I love speaking other languages and immersing myself in other cultures. I particularly enjoy travelling in English- or Dutch-speaking regions – ideally in such a way that I don’t stand out at all.
3. If you could try out a time machine, which era would you travel to?
I’d travel back to 1969 to watch the moon landing live on TV, experience Berlin during the Cold War and immerse myself in the music of that era. I’m fascinated by everything to do with flying and space travel, so I’d also love to visit the Kennedy Space Centre and experience the technology of that time.
