To help you get to know the faces behind our products better, we introduce a new member of the Schuchmann team every month under the motto “Three Questions for”.
Today’s spotlight is on Jens Westenberg, a physiotherapist with many years’ experience and an industry expert.
From this month onwards, Jens – together with our long-standing colleague Michael Sinnhuber – will be taking over the Eastern field service area.
1. Which professional experience has shaped you the most?
I served as a non-commissioned officer in the German Armed Forces for eight years and was stationed in Kosovo for a while. My time there taught me how team spirit and solidarity help to overcome difficult situations and conditions. This experience still helps me today to handle challenging tasks with greater confidence.
2. Which country did you last visit and why?
Most recently, I went to Denmark and Sweden with my family. It was a brilliant option for an active beach holiday and a relaxing fishing holiday! Denmark has been a regular holiday destination for years. It was our first time in Sweden, and we fell in love with the nature and surroundings straight away.
3. Do you have a favourite Schuchmann product?
As a keen cyclist and physiotherapist, the therapy bikes are particularly close to my heart. They help children with disabilities not only to improve their motor skills, but also to boost their self-confidence and develop a zest for life.
